Too many kids worldwide cannot go to school. Their parents have to work all day, so they have to babysit their siblings. There is no money to pay for school. Or there simply is no school nearby.
We help to educate teachers and (re)building schools so children are provided with solid education.
Many children worldwide experience malnourishment and stunted growth. An often monotonous diet is the only thing they have access to. This results in many children having disabilities like bad eyesight or an underdeveloped brain.
Our food program helps children to eat a varied, well-balanced diet and to be monitored in how the food impacts their health for at least a year.
By building a school, food forest or educating teachers, we create employment for the locals surrounding the community.
We aim to work only with local people and businesses and help them grow.
In South Africa, a land of rich diversity and breathtaking landscapes, the vibrant facade masks a critical issue: unequal access to quality education.
We strive to bridge this gap, paving the way for a more inclusive and promising future for all communities.
We bought a piece of land of 2 hectares in 2019. With a big vision: building a school and church to provide the community with education and a place to practice their faith and come together.
In 2023, we organized an auction to generate money for the land. Because building a school sounds great, but to have a piece of land where that is possible is step one.
In Acornhoek we are building the community on 2 hectares of land. With the goal of expanding to 10 hectares in the future.
With our work help 33,500 people, 60% (±20,000) of whom are children.
We raised money to build a fence, plumbing and a borehole for water on the property.
The situation is particularly harrowing in North Bali. That area suffers from a serious lack of water, has no industry and unlike in other parts of Bali, there is hardly any income from tourism.
That’s why we provide extra education in North Bali.
At BOOST The World, ‘awareness’ is at the forefront. We are committed to educating the youth who not only have knowledge of the academic world but also possess a deep understanding and appreciation for the complexity of our world. Our holistic approach to education encourages students to actively participate in their community, with a focus on ecological awareness and respect for the natural laws of the earth. In this way, we prepare them to effect positive changes in their surroundings and contribute to a more beautiful world.
Children are by nature explorers and curious. Being able to discover life in complete freedom and playfully. Go off the beaten track, it enriches your life and takes you further. You dare to walk your own path. Have the guts to do things you’ve never done before.
We know that students learn better through entrepreneurial learning, or ‘learning by doing’. We believe that learning should be driven by real needs and the prospect of a sustainable future. But also through the ambitions of our students, who are empowered to follow their passions and take action to create a positive impact in their environment.
Learning and creating together. Equally and with respectful approach to each other. We want to create an environment where everyone feels ‘at home’. The school prioritizes and nurtures relationships between all students, their environment and their community.
Teach me to do it myself, independently and from ownership. Be able to learn at your own pace. Our life lesson curriculum adapts to the changing needs of students, so students take ownership of their own learning journey by being involved every step of the way.
Living according to the laws of nature. We pay special attention to the ecosystem, learning about the natural laws of the earth to contribute to a sustainable future.
The community was created from our shared vision to make the world of a new generation a bit more beautiful. We all believe that education based on a holistic approach is the key to a fertile future for people, animals and the planet. In collaboration with our partners we ensure a bright future for all communities. Together with all children, parents, caregivers, teachers, volunteers and specialists.
